Builders Story 

Shawn Antin,  founder and owner of Sma Builders has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Being a worker himself, he developed the skill and knowledge needed to start his own company in 1984. Shawn Antin is an analytical thinker being able to break down complicated projects to save time and reduce costs. He remains personally involved and always available to assist architects, structural engineers and high-end general contractors in all of SMA's projects. He has personally trained every foremen on site to manage their crew with excellence to meet our standard "high quality & high production".

Team

  The Team,  at SMA Builders have established a foundation of perfection and value to every jobsite from largest to smallest.

Foremen

• Goyo Calva- With the company since it began, he worked and still works side to side with Shawn to continue the legacy that SMA has brought to the construction industry.He runs all the field operations and personal.

• Estacio Calva-   He has been with the comp since 1985. He brings "production and safety" to each job.

• Pedro Calva- Specializing in custom homes, Pedro with 30 yrs experience has developed a unique skill of detail that keeps clients and owners ecstatic with their new home.

• Pedro Luna-  Framing has been his passion since the early 90's, and has demonstrated perfection in each and every one of his jobs.

Estimator

• Hector Calva- Ours newest member of the team! Taking care of ordering material per plans on each job.  Currently working on receiving his CAD certification.
  

Accounting

• Diana Avitia- Is incharge of general office management, payroll, billing & managing accounts. Her communication skills with contractors and vendors have given us a great reputation of profesionalism.
  

Superintendent

• Pedro Rosales- Working in our general contracting division, Pedro supervises projects from pre-construction through completion. Always working to keep projects organized & mobilized.
